Mildred Mae Devens

Mildred Mae Devens, 80 of Townshend, VT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Grace Cottage Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1935 in New Haven, CT; the daughter of the late Mildred and Nelson Rawson.

Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family. Every grandchild and great grandchild was an added joy to her Life. She dearly loved her pets, Axil and Dandy. She enjoyed going to yard sales, shopping collecting treasures, and spending time with the friends that she made at her apartment complex. She especially enjoyed the activities and Bible study group with Pastor Pete.
She is predeceased by a son, Everett L. Kingsbury in 2015.

She is survived by four sons, Charles R. Kingsbury , Kenneth O. Kingsbury, Thomas R. Devens and Patrick J. Devens.
There are no calling hours. A Grave Side Service will be held in the spring at Jamaica Cemetery in Jamaica Vermont. The Ker Westerlund Funeral Home of Brattleboro, VT is assisting the family with arrangements.
