CAMPTON, NH Mildred G Mayer, age 78, of Riverside Drive, formerly of Whitefield, NH, passed away on Friday, February 29th, at the Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH.
Mildred was born on May 8, 1929, a daughter to Chauncy and Theda (Green) Greenia, in Berkshire, VT. She attended area schools.
Mildred was employed as an Inspector for Hitchiner Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. Mildred was an avid reader, enjoyed going to yard sales, making crafts, and spending time with her family and cat.
Surviving family members include four children, Ellen Danyow of Campton, NH; Laurent (Larry) Mayer, Jr. of Campton, NH, Leo Mayer of Waltham, MA, and Lori Norman of Paulden, AZ; one granddaughter, Tanya Murphy of Port Orchard, WA; one great-granddaughter, Caitlin Murphy; one brother, Lester Greenia of Knoxville, TX; two sisters, Margaret LaPointe of Ellington, CT, and Shirley Brault of New Canaan, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurent (Pepper) Mayer in 1990.
SERVICES A graveside service will be held in the Saint Matthews Cemetery in Whitefield, NH in the spring.
