Mildred "Millie" L. Berry

Mildred L. Berry, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026. Born on July 29, 1948, she spent much of her life in Everett, Massachusetts, and later found a special home and community in Lincoln, New Hampshire.

Millie was the daughter of the late Mildred A. Berry and George Berry, Sr. She was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen Berry, and William "Billy" Berry, and is survived by her brother, George Berry, along with extended family members, and dear friends who became like family.

A devoted nurse by profession, Millie dedicated her life to caring for others. She had an extraordinary gift for putting the needs of those around her before her own, giving her whole heart, body, and soul to anyone who needed comfort, support, or protection. Whether caring for a patient, a family member, a friend, or a stranger, her instinct was always to help. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering generosity left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. Millie was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, New Hampshire, where she faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister. She lived her faith through acts of service, compassion, and love. As her license stated, "Do Good."

Outside of her work and ministry, Millie found joy in life's simple pleasures. Her beloved dog, Harry, was her constant companion and faithfully by her side. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and rarely missed an opportunity to talk about her favorite team. She loved stopping at her favorite coffee shop in Lincoln, where she enjoyed good coffee and friendly conversation, and she was known for baking brownies for the local police and fire departments as a heartfelt way of thanking them for their service.

Millie's greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely. She made people feel safe, cared for, and important. Her life was one of service, faith, and compassion, and the countless lives she touched are better because of her generous spirit.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln, New Hampshire beginning at 11:00AM. Burial is immediately to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH. During the graveside service, the family hopes to lay Millie to rest alongside her beloved brother, Billy, and his wife, Mary Alice.

Millie will be deeply missed, but her example of unconditional love, quiet generosity, and steadfast faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
