Mildred A. (Veilleux) Furgal, Pare, 94 of Manchester passed away on January 17, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 8, 1920 in St. Evariste, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Simeon and Georgianna (Grondin) Veilleux.
Mildred was a resident of the Hillsborough Country Nursing Home and she was a long time parishioner of Ste. Marie's Church. She was also a member of the St. Anne's Society at the Church. Mildred enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren and mostly just enjoyed spending time with her family.
Mildred was pre-deceased by her husband's Stanley Furgal Sr. and George R. Pare Sr. Loving mother of Stanley Furgal Jr. and his wife Eileen, Bob Furgal and his wife Lucille, Judith Lisofsky, Ronald Furgal and the late Raymond Furgal. Loving step-mother of Linda Cote, Roger Pare, George Pare Jr., Darlene Chauvette, Joanne Lee, Rachel Pichette. Devoted Mémère of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Violet Gardner, Cecile Lamy, and Doris Moreau. Mildred was pre-deceased by eight siblings.
SERVICES: Family and friends will honor and remember Mildred's life by gathering for calling hours in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave. (corner of Bremer St.) Manchester on Thursday, January 22nd from 9:00 to 10:30 AM before leaving in procession to Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave. Manchester where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 O'clock. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 166 S. River Rd. # 210, Bedford, NH 03110.
