Mona Simone Potvin

Mona ''Simone'' Potvin, 85, of 770 Howe Street, Manchester, died March 7, 2001, at Bel Air Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born in Manchester, NH on July 24, 1915, the daughter of Egide and Delia (Lessard) Potvin and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. She was a graduate in local Manchester schools and was a hairdresser for 20 years with William & Bonnie Company. Mona also worked for J.F.McElwain Corp. Family members include her sister, Mrs. Irene Mercier of Manchester, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: A calling hour will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium,243 Hanover Street, on Friday from 1 to 2 PM with the funeral service immediately following at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
