Monique M. Yergeau, 84, formerly of 40 Rochambeau Street, died April 2, 2003, at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Trasburg, Vermont on June 17, 1918, the daughter of the late Maxime and Edouardina (Jubinville) Poirier, and had a resident of Manchester for most of her life. She was a member of the CWV Auxiliary. She was a parishioner of St. Edmond Church. Mrs. Yergeau, through a city organization, taught people how to read. She was the widow of Marcel Yergeau who died in 1993. She loved spending time with her family. Family members include two daughters; Mrs. Donald (Claire) Arsenault of Rochester, NH and Mrs. John (Edna) Paradis of Goffstown, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, two sisters, Gertrude Benoit of Prescott, Arizona and Annette Girouard of Orleans, Vermont, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are invited to the calling hours at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday evening from 5 to 8. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in the Church of Transfiguration-St. Jean. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery .
