Muriel A. Bessette, 79, formerly of 117 St. Anselm Drive, Goffstown, died December 24, 2001, at Harborside Health Care, Bedford, NH. She was born in Saskatchawan, Canada on June 10, 1922, the daughter of Jean Baptist and Esther (Lepage) Blouin and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. She was the widow of Maurice L. Bessette who died in 1993. Mrs. Bessette was a graduate of Ste. Marie High School and was a parishoner of St. Edmond Church. She worked in the Business Office in St. Anselm College for 15 years, retiring in 1981. Family members include two sons, Theodore ''Ted'' Bessette and Raymond Bessette, both of Manchester, two daughters, Ms. Constance Bessette of Francestown, NH and Mrs. Thomas (Janice) Manning of Hampton, NH, 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Annette) Duggan of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Mrs. Paula Lefebvre of Concord, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Bessette on Friday morning at 9 O'Clock in St. Edmond Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
