Muriel L. Boucher 69, of 342 South Hall Street, Manchester, died June 11, 2003, at the Elliot Hospital after a battle with cancer. She was born in Manchester on June 25, 1933, the daughter of Charles and Aurore Lamy, and raised her family in Portland, Maine. Mrs. Boucher worked many years for Paul G. White Tile Company of Portland, Maine and returned to Manchester five years ago. Muriel will be remembered as a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother and a loyal, caring friend. She volunteered her time to the Elliot Hospital and enjoyed traveling with family and friends, music, reading, shopping and exercising. She was predeceased by her first husband, William C. Hastings who died in 1988. Family members include her husband of 10 years, Maurice Boucher of Manchester, three sons, Barry C. Hastings of Alberquerque, New Mexico, Paul J.Hastings of Vancouver, British Columbia, William D. Hastings of Boston, Ma., a daughter Karen M. Hastings of Reston, Virginia, two step sons, Michael Boucher of Conway, Arkansas and Mark Boucher of New Gloucester, Maine, eight grandchildren, a sister, Lucille Hobson of Manchester, her predeceased brother Paul Lamy, her two predeceased sisters, Jacqueline Lamy, Gloria Lubelczyk who died a month ago, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are welcomed to her Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning in St. Pius X Church at 10 o'clock. Urn Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
