MURIEL C. BROWN
BETHLEHEM, NH â Muriel C. Brown, 94, died at Littleton Hospital on April 11, 2016 after a short illness.
She was born in Littleton, NH on March 25th, 1922 to Thomas Clare and Cora Churchill and lived in Bethlehem all her life. She married Harold M. Brown in 1941.
Muriel was a member of the Durrell United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge #84, the Bethlehem Ski Club and the Bethlehem Heritage Society. Her family and home were most important to her and her most enjoyable work was when she was doing yard work and mowing her lawn with her John Deere tractor. She was able to do this until her recent illness.
Family includes her daughters, Carol Boucher and husband Bruce, and Clare Brown and husband Bruce; grandchildren, Lauren Boucher of Marion, MA, Ellen Boucher of Tilton, NH, Karen Abraham and husband, Mike of Tuftonboro, NH, and Derek Brown of Bethlehem, NH; great-grandchildren, Caleb Corliss of New Lebanon, NY, Brayden, Calyn and Logan Brown of Bethlehem, NH, and Emma and Grace Abraham of Tuftonboro, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold in 2005; her granddaughter, Meg; her brother, Warren Churchill; and her sisters, Louise Churchill and Lillian Carpenter.
SERVICES â A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m. in the Maple Street Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Cox. A gathering will be held immediately following the service in the Durrell United Methodist Church hall.
