Muriel T. Dobbins, 78, formerly of 70 Blodget Street, died May 16, 2004 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester on January 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Stephen and Florence (Akey) Dobbins and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She worked for New Hampshire Insurance for many years until her retirement. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral and was a lifelong caregiver. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Ashley who died in 2003. Family members include her daughter, Julie Lavallee of Manchester; a sister, Lucille Stuart Beaulieu of OK; and many cousins. In Her Life: Muriel was a long time caregiver for her mother, Florence and her two aunts, Lillian Lane and Mildred Mack until their deaths, with whom she resided for over 40 years. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 in St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
