Muriel D. Labore

The family of Muriel D. Labore sadly announce her passing on April 6, 2023 at the age of 96. Muriel was born on April 25, 1926 in Winchendon, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of William and Alice (Martel) Morin.

After raising her family, she worked in retail and customer service at Sears for over 20 years. She was the devoted wife of Raymond A. Labore. Together, they enjoyed 73 years of marriage until the time of his death in 2021.  They traveled extensively during their retirement and found great joy in sharing time with family.

Muriel’s enthusiasm for life was contagious. She demonstrated courage, strength and most of all, resilience, in meeting the challenges in her life. Her positive attitude was an inspiration to all of us.

Muriel is survived by her son Raymond and his wife Dr. Nancy Labore,  son Mark and his wife Denise Labore and brother Raymond Morin, of Yarmouth Maine. Her greatest joys were her three grandsons Matthew, Craig and Jason and her three great grandchildren Khale, Jacob and Madelyn. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, brothers William, Donald and sister Doris.

Funeral services will be private.
