Muriel “Mimi” Corbin Rubin, 92, of Annapolis MD, formerly of NH passed away at her residence on March 9, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Worcester, MA on November 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Maurice and Fanny (Rakieten) Corbin. She worked for the Newmarket Housing Authority for many years. Mimi’s love for her family knew no bounds. She put her heart and soul into motherhood and her daughters adored her. She was her husband’s true love and rock for over 70 years. All those that knew her loved her.

Family members include her husband, George Rubin; two daughters, Dawn L. Rubin and Lori J. Rubin and her partner Jim Elsaesser; four grandchildren, Erik Rubin Parshall, Rachel Rubin Parshall and her fiancé Austin Carcia, Jakob Rubin Hess, and Rebekah Faith Hess; her sister-in-law Kamara Corbin; her brother in law, Richard Rubin and his wife Denise; and nephews, and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Stefan Corbin and his first wife Elaine Corbin.

A service will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Special Olympics. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
