MYRA RUTH (COUNTER) DEXTER
LITTLETON, NH Myra Ruth (Counter) Dexter, age 88, passed away at home on September 5th, with her family by her side.
Myra was born on February 19, 1920, a daughter to Freddie and Annie (Decoateau) Corliss, in Baldwin Mills, Canada. She attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School.
Myra retired from the Brushwood Handle Factory in Littleton, where she worked for many years. She enjoyed reading books and newspapers, and loved spending time with her family and cat, Polly.
Surviving family members include four grandsons, Bob Lucas and Janice, Mike Lucas and Megan, Don Lucas and Amanda, and David Lucas and Nikki; and one nephew, Alvin Corliss. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Dexter, her son Robert Lucas, Sr., and her daughter-in-law, Judith Lucas.
SERVICES A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton, followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Rose Cemetery in Littleton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency, 536 Cottage Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
