Mysiana "Mitsie" Demers, 84, of 100 Milford Street, Manchester, died July 6, 2003, at Catholic Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in St. Francois-du-lac, Canada on March 4, 1919, the daughter of Alberic and Rosina (Hamel) Morin and had been a resident of Manchester for most of her life. She was the widow of Bertrand Demers who died in 1991. Mitsie owned and operated Mitsie's Beauty Salon for 30 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and was a member of St. Anne Sodality of that parish. Family members include two sons, Renaud Demers of Hampstead, NH and Kenneth Demers of Manchester, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Nelson Morin of Unionville, Connecticut, a sister Mrs. Candide Chandonnet of Manchester, several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Tuesday evening from 7 to 9. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery
