Nancy Rose (Houle) Fauteux, 68, of Manchester, passed away at Catholic Medical Center on November 28, 2011.
She was born in Exeter on January 7, 1943, the daughter of Vitale Houle and Germaine (Desrosiers) Vaillancourt, and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She worked for many years as a switchboard operator for the State of New Hampshire at YDC until her retirement. Earlier in her career, she had worked a number of years at Dorsen Fletcher. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed all the many friends she had collected over the years.
Family members include her husband of 49 years, Jerome Fauteux; a son, Marc Fauteux and his wife Gillian of Jaffrey; a daughter, Lisa Best and her husband Nicholas of Franconia; four grandchildren; Tyler, Brian, Destiny, and Emma; a brother, Armand "Joe" Vaillancourt and his wife June of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:00 AM in Ste. Marie Church. Committal services will follow in the chapel at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
