Nancy Ann Hartwell

Nancy Ann Hartwell, born on June 21, 1951, passed away at the age of 72 on Saturday, September 16 with her loving family at her side. Nancy was the first child of Edward and Joyce Bennett of Manchester, NH.

Nancy enjoyed 47 years of marriage with her husband Jack Hartwell. Together they built a beautiful home in Litchfield, NH which was full of lush gardens and impeccable furnishings. Nancy hosted many family events and holidays in Litchfield with pleny of delicious meals. She truly enjoyed hosting the people she loved the most, especially during the holidays.

Nancy attended Manchester schools and Notre Dame College. Her early career was in banking before becoming a homemaker. Together Nancy and Jack enjoyed travel to Europe and the Caribbean. Nancy also loved her pets immesnely, all of which they adopted and gave a loving home.

Nancy will always be remembered as a kind and loving person, as she never spoke an unkind word towards anybody. She had a beautiful smile and showed kindness and generosity to all. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Nancy is survived by her husband Jack Hartwell; brother Douglas Bennett and his wife Sue; brother Thomas Bennett and his wife Eileen; brother James Bennett and his wife Paula; brother Robert Bennett and his wife Jacki; brother Charles Bennett and his wife Denise; sister Gail Cataneo and her husband Chris; sisters-in-law Judy McKnight and Pam Hartwell; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Nancy was an avid crafter and made many beautiful items throughout her life, bringing them to craft fairs and gifting them to family and friends.
