Nancy M. Weiss of Vernon, VT passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Fitchburg, Ma on January 19, 1965; the daughter of the late Albert and Evelyn (Freeman) Partridge.
Nancy was educated in the Fitchburg and Brattleboro school systems, graduating from Brattleboro High School. She was employed as a bus driver for First Student. She enjoyed going to Kimball's, eating ice cream, watching the walking dead TV series, WWE, cross stitching, cows, taking pictures, and loved her dog Cadie. Nancy's proudest and greatest achievement in life was her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and had a special bond with her oldest grandson, Dakota.
She is survived by her fiancé, Donald Pratt of Vernon; a daughter, Ashley L. Weiss of Vernon; a son, Seve T. Weiss and his wife Demina of Vernon; two brothers, Al Partridge and his wife Sharon of Chicopee, MA and Gary Partridge and his fiancé Melissa Lamb of Vernon; a sister, Peggy Picard of Springfield. VT; five grandsons, Dakota Shippee, Taytum Baldacchino, Jace Baldacchino, Danny Penza and Chris Penza; an Aunt, Nancy Huckins of Chesterfield, MA; her best friend, Kelly Wunsch of Vernon; as well as few nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 10 AM to 12 PM at KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, 57 High St., Brattleboro, VT. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Vernon. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
