Nanette L. Bessette

Nanette Louise Bessette, 56, of Manchester, NH, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 24, 2024. Born in Portsmouth, NH on September 9, 1968, she was a daughter of the late John Warner and Dorothy (Griffith) Poff. She shared 13 years of marriage with her husband, Andre Bessette.

Nanette was raised in Portsmouth and was a 1986 graduate of Dover High School. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and cooking. Nanette cherished time spent at her camp near Weirs Beach, which was her happy place. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend and will be deeply missed.

Nanette is survived by her husband, Andre Bessette of Manchester; her children, Mitchell McCarthy of Ohio and Kendra McCarthy of South Carolina; her siblings, Wade Warner of Vermont, Timothy Moore of Laconia, Nina Leighton of South Carolina, and Shereen Garland of Rochester; as well as other extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
