Natividad Ribeiro-Silva, 66, of Manchester died February 21, 2012 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester.
She was born on February 12, 1946 in Montevideo, Uruguay the daughter of Antonio Silva and Carmen Gonzalez. She was raised and educated in Uruguay, moving to the US in the 1970's.
She worked for 32 years at Velcro in Manchester.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years whom she met and married in South America, Walter Ribeiro of Manchester, son, Walter H. Ribeiro of Manchester, brother, Wilder Gonzalez of Denmark; 4 sisters, Estela Flores of Manchester, Romanilda Arroyo of Miami, FL, Norma Fernandez of Florida and Uruguay and Leila Barreiro of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Hugo Gonzalez, Washington Gonzalez, Omar Gonzalez and Angel Silva.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Monday from 6-8PM. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 10:00AM. Committal Prayers will follow in the Chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
