Neal W. Cronin, 52, of 51 Riddle Street, died May 27, 2001 after a short illness at home. He was born in Manchester on July 27, 1948, the son of Walter L. and Winnifred (St. Jean) Cronin and had been a lifelong resident of the City. He graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1965 and attended St. Anselms College. Mr. Cronin was in the communications field for many years. He also operated a local business. He was an avid golfer. Mr. Cronin served in the United States Army Reserve. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark Cronin. Family members include his parents of Manchester; his wife of thirty years, Michele (Chapdelaine) Cronin; two daughters, Meredith Andrada and Amanda Cronin, both of Manchester; three brothers, Brian Cronin of Manchester, Shane Cronin of York, ME and Gary Cronin of Manchester; a sister, Karen Morrison of York, ME; one uncle and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday evening from 5 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
