Nguyet Kim Nguyen, 70 of Manchester, died September 30, 2004 at the Elliot Hospital. He was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam on January 31, 1935 and had been a Manchester resident for the past eleven years. While in Vietnam, he was a high ranking officer with the Vietnam military during the war. He had recently been employed at RCD. Prior to that, he worked for the International Institute of New Hampshire. Family members include a daughter, Nguyet Nga Nguyen of Vietnam; a sister, Hieu Nguyen of Manchester; and several sisters who reside in Vietnam along with nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM.
