Nicholas James Katsikas, 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Arlington, Texas on July 16, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1941, in Lagadia, Greece, the beloved son of the late James and Maria (Alexopoulos) Katsikas.
Nicholas was a proud graduate of the University of New Hampshire and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas. He went on to own and operate a successful dental practice for many years. In 1963, he served honorably as a Captain in the United States Air Force.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Suzanne Jolicoeur, and his devoted brother, Anastasios Katsikas. Nicholas is survived by his longtime companion, Roslyn Simowitz; his brother, Constantinos Katsikas; his sister-in-law, Christina Katsikas; and his niece, Maria Fisher.
Nicholas lived life with energy and humor. He enjoyed playing racquetball and golf and found great joy in spending time with friends, often sharing stories, laughter, and popcorn, always with good-natured teasing and camaraderie.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, at Saint Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 West Hollis Street, Nashua, NH, followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, also in Nashua. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
