Nicholas K. Koustas

Nicholas K. Koustas, 76, of Manchester, NH died on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Koustas was born on March 4, 1942, in Pentalofos, Kozani, Greece, the son of the late Kosmas and Sophia (Tsotsi) Koustas. He was a resident of Manchester for the past 63 years.
He was employed for over 30 years as a teacher at West High School, in Manchester. Mr. Koustas also owned and operated Skyway World Travel.
He enjoyed playing the accordion and was a member of several bands including: Nick Tzimos and the Continentals; Coronis Band; Chris Papoutsy Orchestra and the Hellenic and Near East Musical Society Orchestra, and many others.
Members of his family include; his wife of 49 years, Despina (Moraitou) Koustas, of Manchester, NH; one daughter, Sophia Koustas, of Manchester, two sons, Kosmas Koustas, of Hooksett, NH; Andreas Koustas, of Manchester; two grandchildren, Kaylen Koustas, Christian Hale, a sister, Virginia Kassos, of Haverhill, MA; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 16, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (111 Island Pond Road), St Nicholas Orthodox Church (1160 Bridget St), and St George Orthodox Cathedral (650 Hanover St), in memory of Mr. Koustas.
