Nicole M. Fitzgerald, 45, of Manchester, NH went to be with her creator unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in Manchester, NH.
Ms. Fitzgerald was born on April 14, 1980, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Peter Beland and Francoise (Chauvette) Callison. She attended and earned an associates degree from NH Community College in Accounting and Finance.
Nicole helped establish Joshua’s Angels to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern New England.
She was employed at the Elliot Hospital for 18 years as a Lead phlebotomist. She has occupied many other positions at other employers as she is a jack of all trades.
She enjoyed time with her tripod rescue pitbull Josie, long walks to see the sunset, a good coloring book, any New England sports team, and a good lobster roll or beach pizza from the coast. Nicole especially enjoyed her sons sporting events including hockey and cross country and her daughter’s cheer competitions and destination imagination. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her proudest accomplishment is her children. She was even prouder when she became a grandmother and loved to brag about her granddaughters.
Members of her family include; her daughter, Emilie Edmond and her husband, Michael, of Suffolk, VA; her son, Joshua Fitzgerald, of New Boston, NH; grandchildren, Annette and Genesis, sibling, Michael Beland and his wife, Jamie, two nephews, Brennan and Carter, of Manchester, NH; and parents, Francoise and Kenneth Callison, of Suffolk, VA; and her partner in life, James Wilborn of Manchester, NH.
She was predeceased by granddaughter Daisie Edmond and her biological father Peter Beland.
As most of us know, Nicole was the cat with 9 lives but now as she joins some of her favorite people and rescue animals, we all know that she will be dropping it like it’s hot like there is no tomorrow. Lets remember to celebrate what Nicole would want us to in life, the silly and little things in life. And as she always has said… Amen
