Nikki H. LaBarge, 53, of 784 Hanover Street, died March 23, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Winchendon, MA on June 7, 1954, the daughter of Reginald E. and Philomena (Field) LaBarge and had been a resident of the Manchester and Concord area for most of her life. She was a 1972 graduate of West High School. She spent several years as a dog groomer in VA. She continued her career in the pet industry working for PetCo Animals and Supplies for over ten years. She currently was employed by Callogix. In Her Life: Family members include her mother of Manchester; two brothers, Bruce LaBarge and his wife Donna of Manchester; Keith LaBarge of Manchester; four sisters, Michele Lomartire and her husband Bob of Pembroke, Denise Fournier and her husband Peter of Weare, Jade Beaupre and her husband Rick of Weare and Andrea LaBarge of Gilbert, AZ; her best friends, Steven Durost and Mike Howatt both of Manchester; and thirteen loving nephews and nieces. Nikki was generous to a fault, wonderfully caring and deeply faithful. She will be missed beyond what words can express. Dear Nikki we "just cannot smile without you". Because she was such an avid supporter of CREATE!, the Center for Expressional Arts, Therapy and Education, a memorial fund is being created in her name. The Nikki LaBarge Memorial Funds will aid children, adults and the elderly who cannot afford mental health counseling services, art therapy or creative life document therapy. Donations to this fund may be given to the family in lieu of flowers. Through this fund, Nikki's belief in CREATE! will continue grow, touching people for many generations.
