Nikolay Berezutskiy, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 5th, 2018. He was 69 years old. Nikolay was born in Kazakhstan on January 2nd, 1949 and was a professional coal miner for over 30 years, after graduating with a technical degree in his field. His rich life experience included time with the Russian army, attaining the rank of a "Full Cavalier of the Coal Miner's Glory Badge".
In 2001 Nikolay and his family immigrated from Siberia to New Hampshire in the USA. Wherever he lived, Nikolay always enjoyed nature's simple pleasures, including hunting and fishing, as well as foraging for apples and mushrooms in the forrest.
He was a devout follower of Jesus Christ, and both his public and home lives reflected the ideals presented in the Bible. He never lacked an inspiring sense of humility, despite possessing talent in diverse areas of life, from construction, to gardening, and much more. His positivity was seen through his constant contentment in all circumstances, regardless of the many difficulties he faced. His was a life of exemplary Christian living, and his legacy will be that of a man whose heart was radically and tangibly transformed by the power of the Gospel. He will be missed by all who had the great pleasure of knowing him, as well as many friends and family. He is survived by his wife Olya, children Sergey, Gennadiy, and Lena, and three grandchildren.
