Ninon Rose A. Tousignant, 85, of Manchester died January 3, 2007 at Mapleleaf Health Care Center following a lengthy illness. Rose was born on January 19, 1921 the daughter of Albert and Antoinette (Beaudoin) Villeneuve. She was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and moved to Manchester in 1962 where she has resided ever since. From the early 1960s to the mid 1970s Rose was employed at Catholic Medical Center working in the kitchen helping patients with special diets. Following her career at CMC, she began working as a stitcher at Prevue Products however retired several years later due to her illness. Rose was blessed with making many friends during her employment there. She was a member of St. Marie Parish and enjoyed playing bingo with fellow parishioners. She was also a member of Les Coeurs Joyeux. Knitting and baking where her favorite pastimes. Rose was a kind woman who took pride in taking care of her family. Family members include; one son, Jean-Paul Gagnon of Bonita Springs, FL and formerly of Goffstown; one daughter, Madeleine Gilbert of Manchester; three grandsons, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice Villeneuve of Montreal and Jacques Villeneuve of Sarasota, FL; one sister, Lucille Beauchemin of Ontario, Canada; and nieces and nephews. A sister, Louise Villeneuve, recently predeceased her. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9:30 until 11 oclock with at Funeral Service at 11 oclock at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
