Noel P. B. Gagnon – 12/25/33 to 12/25/24, passed peacefully at The Corville in Manchester, NH. Yes he made it to his 91st birthday!!
Born in Manchester, NH, he was a 20 year Veteran in the US Army. Serving with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions that included a tour in Vietnam.
Following his military retirement, he was a mason well into his 80’s. Examples of his exemplary work can be found all over NH.
Noel was predeceased by his wife Constance, his son Peter, step children Allen and Christine as well as his sister Rita and brothers Jerry and Raymond. He leaves behind his son Philip, daughter Suzette, step son Kenneth, brother Paul and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Noel will be remembered, for his no nonsense attitude, determined work ethic and willingness to help anyone in need.
There will be a military service at the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH on Monday, March 24th at 11:00 AM. A “Celebration of Life” luncheon will be held at The Puritan Backroom in the Conotas Room from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Easterseals NH Veterans Count, 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH 03103, in honor of Noel’s service and commitment to his country.
