Norma Fleury, 90, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2019 at the Villa Crest Nursing Home. Born on November 24, 1928 to Fred and Bertha (Rioux) Daley in Halifax MA, Norma was raised and educated in Massachusetts until moving to New Hampshire for the remainder of her life.
Norma has now joined her late husband Wilfred Fleury, the love of her life, in eternal rest. Wilfred and Norma were married for over 20 years and were best friends until Wilfred's passing. Norma and Wilfred would go on to raise their beloved daughter Patricia, who was the center of their world.
Having loved music and dance, memories of Norma dancing whenever music would play, or singing "How much is that doggie in the window" will not be soon forgotten. She also loved sharing food with those she loved, especially when double chocolate donuts, whole belly clams or fudge sundaes were involved. Among her many friends, Norma was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and will always cherish her time spent and many friends made as a member of the "Red Hatters."
Family and friends will remember Norma as a mother who took great pride in raising her daughter and grandchildren and providing them with opportunity and fulfillment as much as possible. She also loved her animals dearly, and will be missed by her cats Poopsy, Snowball and Kitkat. Above all, Norma loved her family immensely, and will be greatly missed by her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Norma joins her late husband Wilfred Fleury, and her grandson Danny Stokes in heaven. She is survived by her daughter Patricia and her husband Edward Stokes; granddaughter Lisa and her husband Jim Bradish; grandson Michael and his wife Lisa Stokes; granddaughter Kelly and her husband Renald Lacasse; and her 5 great grandchildren Michael Jr, Courtney, Haley, Kaitlyn & Jacob.
