Norma K. Gerrie

Norma K. Gerrie, 83, of Bedford, NH passed away on May 3, 2021 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. Born in Worcester, MA on May 12, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Almon and Marjorie (White) Jackson.

Norma was raised and educated in Oxford, MA and spent a lot of time in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire in her younger years. She earned her secretarial degree from Colby Junior College and worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer. She made her home in Bedford, NH, where she resided for over 50 years. Norma was very proud of her heritage as a "Daughter of the Mayflower" and traced her ancestry back to Perigrine White and Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. Norma loved creating silk flower arrangements, cars, horses and cheering for the New England Patriots.

Norma is survived by her son, Glen Gerrie, her sister, Patty Packard, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Norma will be laid to rest alongside her daughter, Robin, who passed away as an infant in 1964. Burial will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Oakland Cemetery, 73 Meredith Center Road, Meredith, NH. Those in attendance are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
