Norman E. Bissonnette, 70, of Manchester and Moody Beach, ME, died April 17, 2002 at Boston Medical Center. He was born in Danielson, CT on May 29, 1931, the son of Ernest and Alice (Savoie) Bissonnette and had been a Manchester area resident since 1947. For over 50 years, he owned and operated Manchester Redimix Concrete, Inc. He was on the Advisory Board of the Bank of New Hampshire. He was a past member of the New Hampshire Good Roads Association and the Association of General Contractors of New Hampshire. Earlier on, he was a member of the New Hampshire Army Reserves. For over 35 years, he was a member of the Manchester County Club and also belonged to the York (ME) Golf and Tennis Club. Family members include his wife of 47 years, Maureen (Sullivan) Bissonnette; two sons, Mark Bissonnette of Amherst and David Bissonnette of Bedford; a daughter, Joan Bissonnette of Manchester; five grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Anselm College Abbey Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
