Norman C. Boyce, 75, of Canterbury died January 7, 2009 at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice House in Concord following a short illness. He was born on January 5, 1934 in Hartford, CT the son of the late Norman A. and Priscilla (Clarke) Boyce. He was raised and educated in Hartford until the age of s sixteen when he moved to Newport, NH. He completed his education in Newport. Mr. Boyce was a resident of Canterbury for the past 14 years. Mr. Boyce was a farmer at Green Thumb Acres in Canterbury for the past 12 years. Previously he was the manager of Rand Pond Campground in Goshen, NH and manager of Loon Lake Campground in Croyden, NH. Norman enjoyed hunting, fishing and being on the farm. In His Life: He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley (George) Boyce of Canterbury; son, Daniel A. Boyce and his wife Cindy of Zuni, VA; grandson, Christopher Boyce of Zuni, VA; sister, Lynn Moody of Claremont, his cousin, Jack Boyce of Hartford, CT and his brother in-law, John Hugron and his wife Beverly of Canterbury. His Memorial Gathering will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King St, Boscawen on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with his Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
