Norman R. Cullerot

Norman R. Cullerot, 72, of Manchester, passed away on June 17, 2011 at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on February 11, 1939, the son of the late Henry and Beatrice (Gagnon) Cullerot and had been a lifelong resident of the City. Norman graduated from Bishop Bradley High School in 1956, and attended St. Anselm College and New Hampshire College. He was a medic with the United State Air Force Reserve based at Grenier Field in Manchester, and served in active duty with the Air Force between 1961 and 1962. He was employed by Public Service Company of New Hampshire until his retirement in 2001 after 44 years of service. Norman was a long-time member of Intervale Country Club, the Manchester Jaycees, and the New Hampshire Republican Committee. He was also a past President of the Northeastern Industrial Developers Association, past President and coach of the Manchester Swim Team, and coach and umpire with Southwest Little League. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed following the basketball careers of his two granddaughters.

In his Life: Family members include his loving wife of 51 years, Janet (Swormstedt) Cullerot; one son, Kenneth J. Cullerot and his wife Joanne Cullerot of Henniker; two granddaughters Libby Cullerot and Katie Cullerot both of Henniker; a brother, Lionel Cullerot and wife Jacqueline of Goffstown; two sisters-in-law, Judith Baer and her husband Thomas of Goffstown, and Jacqueline Dougharty and her husband Buddy of Durango, CO

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services to follow in the funereal home chapel at 1:00 PM. Committal services will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive Suite 110, Bedford, New Hampshire 03110.
