Olive Weisman

Olive Weisman, 73, of Merrimack, died December 19, 2000, at Elliot Hospital after a courageous battle with emphysema. She was born in Manchester on August 9, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Yvonne (Ballard) Long and had been a resident of the Nashua and Merrimack Communities for most of her life. Mrs. Weiseman was co-owner of the car dealership, S & J Motor Company in Merrimack. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed working with the elderly and children. Olive was an avid cook and enjoyed traveling. Family members include her husband of 49 years, Samuel Weisman of Merrimack, two sons, Gary Weisman of Sanbornton, NH and Craig Weiseman of Londonderry, NH, three daughters, Carol Black of Freemont, NH, Debrah Kyriax of Gilford, NH and Heidi Hughes of Hopkinton, six grandchildren, a sister Lucille Demers of Tenn., several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church, Manchester, NH with Reverend Monsignor Anthony Frontiero, a close friend of the family, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association, 456 Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03105
