Origene ''Gene'' Beliveau, 94, of 66 Country Way, Medford Farms, Goffstown, died April 4, 2002 at Harborside Northwood Healthcare Center in Bedford. He was born in Manchester on September 9, 1907, the son of Amedee and Obeline (Duguay) Beliveau and had been a resident of the city for all of his life until moving to Goffstown sixteen years ago. He was a World War II Army Veteran, serving in Europe. He had worked at J. F. McElwain for over forty years until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick Church and a member of the League of 1000 Men of Precious Blood Monastery. He was predeceased by his first wife, Yvonne (Marcel) Beliveau who died in 1955 and by his second wife, Adrienne (Aubin) (Malenfant) Beliveau who died in 2001. Family members include his daughter, Mrs. Norman (Pauline) Lussier of Goffstown; a brother, Richard Beliveau of Weathersfield, CT; four sisters, Claire Lemieux of El Cajon, CA, Laurette Desilets of Bronx, NY, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Coderre of Manchester and Mrs. Arnold (Mary Jane) Green of Hooksett; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in St. Patrick Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
