Oscar Carter, 86, of Pinardville,died Nov.7,2002 at the CMC Hospital . He was born in Charlestown NH on Sept. 19,1916,and was the son of the late Charles and Yvonne (Langvin) Carter.He had lived in Manchester until moving to Pinardville in 1956. Mr. Carter worked at Portsmouth Navy Yard until his retirement as a Foreman Electrican.He was a WWII and Korean Conflict Army Veteran.He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr Carter enjoyed traveling and fishing. He was predeased by a son Oscar James Carter who died in 1989. Family members included his wife of 62 years Rita (Roukey) Carter of Pinardville; one daughter Mrs. Gerard (Fayth) Beland of Manchester; one brother John Carter of Haines, FL. seven grandchildren;and twelve great grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:45 Am at the Parish of the Transfiguration at St. Jean Church. Encryptment will be in Mt.
