Oscar Nicholas Villacis Campuzano, 95, passed November 22, 2024 in Nashua, NH. He was born on February 2, 1929 in Duran, Ecuador, the son of Maria Campuzano and José Nicholas Villacís Bustamante
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Oscar Villacis Campuzano, a beloved father, brother, and friend. Oscar was known for his outgoing personality, infectious sense of humor, and love of life. His passion for the outdoors was matched only by his devotion to his family, whom he cherished deeply. Whether hiking, camping, or simply spending time with loved ones, Oscar’s zest for adventure and connection was evident in everything he did. He had an innate ability to bring people together and make them feel welcome, and his warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew him.
Oscar is survived by his children Jorge Miguel Villacis, Jadira Isabel Villacis, Ludis Maria Villacis, Mercedes Levina Villacis, Betty Gardenia Villacis (mother; Aurelia Levine Flor) Oscar Alexander Villacis, Sandra Mireya Villacis, Luisa Yvonne Villacis, Esther L. Villacis, Wellington David Villacis, Eric Michael Villacis (mother; Fanny Saavedra) Oscar Luis Villacis, Michelle Fanny Villacis & George Michael Villacis (mother; Fanny Rocio Morgan) twenty-two grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. His love, laughter, and spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
SERVICES: A celebration of Oscar’s life will be held Wednesday November 27th. A wake will be held at 8am at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Cremation 26 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH 03060. A church service will follow at 10am at St. Aloysius of Gonzaga Catholic Church (St Louis Church) 48 W Hollis St, Nashua, NH 03060 followed by a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery 101 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH 03060.
A post funeral reception will be held at Soel Sistas, 30 Temple St, STE 202, Nashua, NH 03060
