Osmer F. Clark III, 55, of Newfane, VT passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 2, 2015 at his residence in Newfane. He was born in Brattleboro, VT on August 7, 1959, the son of the late Osmer F. Clark, Jr. and Darlene G. Clark.
Ozzie attended the Townshend school system, graduating from Leland & Gray High School. He was employed for many years as a groomer for Mount Snow until his health forced him to leave.
Ozzie was a true outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, ice fishing, reading and had a knack for fixing things, spending hours tinkering and repairing things.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a brother, Brett Clark in 2009. His significant other, Theresa Frank passed away on February 3, 2015.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene G. Clark of Newfane; one sister, Penny Sheedy of Argyle, NY; five brothers, Bart Clark and his wife Michelle of Newfane, Kyle Barcomb of Newfane, Donald Clark of Charleston, SC, Brad Clark of Townshend, and Gary Barcomb and his wife Wendy of Newfane; as well as many nieces and nephews. He had many good friends and acquaintances that will truly miss him.
A celebration of his life will be held in the spring. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, 57 High St., Brattleboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
