Palmer Woodworth, 83, of 1076 Hooksett Road, died at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home on October 29, 2003, after a brief illness.<br><br>He was born in Westfield, Massachusetts on November 3, 1919, the son of George David and Grace (Palmer) Woodworth and resided in Arlington, Ma., before making his residency in Hooksett 46 years ago. He served seven years in the Marine Corps, during WW II in the 5th Division and retired as Tech Sargent. Palmer was a past Commander of the NH Marine Corps. League and volunteered his time at the Veteran Medical Hospital for 17 years. Mr. Woodworth retired as an electronic technician with Sanders Company after many years of service.<br><br>Family members include his wife of 63 years, Pauline (Koch) Woodworth, a son, David Woodworth, both of Hooksett, four daughters, Geraldine Silva of Auburn, NH, Donna Ross of Goffstown, NH, Sandra Woodworth of N. Hampton, NH and Kathrine Baker of Dover, NH., his pre-deceased daughter Elizabeth Landry, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.<br><br>SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service for Mr. Woodworth on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock in the Hooksett Congregational Church, Hooksett, NH.
