Pamela H. Haggarty

Pamela H. (Paulson) Haggarty, 71, of Bedford, NH died on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at The Arbors of Bedford. Mrs. Haggarty was born on July 7, 1947, in Lansing, MI the daughter of the late Harold Robert and Marguerite Elsie (Hope) Paulson and the wife of the late Charles M. Haggarty.
Pam graduated from Everett High School in 1965, Alma College in 1969, and Yale University in 1973 where she earned her Master of Public Health.
Pam was employed as an Executive Director and worked for The Safe Place, New Hampshire Audubon, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, and Rockingham County Family Planning.
Pam loved hiking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, drawing and painting, flying an airplane, scrapbooking, geocaching, and exploring the White Mountains with her husband.
Pam married Charles M. Haggarty on July 29,1978 in Hampstead, NH. They enjoyed 30 years of marriage residing in Derry.
Members of her family include: her stepmother, Ruth Paulson, brother-in-law, Frank Haggarty and his wife Gail, nephew, George Haggarty and his wife Chapelle, niece, Laura Gilpatric and her husband Ian, cousins, Michael Paulson and his wife, Vickie, Laura Hager and her husband Lee, Steven Paulson and his wife Mary, Elaine Debest and her husband David, 3 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A memorial gathering will follow from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the NH Audubon Center, 84 Silk Farm Road, Concord, NH or the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org in memory of Mrs. Haggarty.
