PATRICIA BLANDIN

BETHLEHEM, NH – Patricia (Patti) Lou Blandin passed away unexpectedly on October 3rd at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with her family at her side.

Patti was born August 15, 1936 in Augusta, Maine to her parents, Harry and Doris Peters. She was raised in nearby Gardiner, Maine. She graduated from Kents Hill School, Kents Hill, ME in 1954. She went on to attend and graduate from The School of Radiologic Technology in Lewiston, Maine in 1956, her most proud and cherished accomplishment. Her first job as a Radiological Technologist was at Littleton Hospital from 1956-1959. Later, after her children were school-aged, she went back to work in 1970 and had an extended career at Woodsville Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH until her retirement in 1998.

Patti wed Walter (Chub) Frank Blandin of Littleton in 1958, and they settled into their home in Bethlehem that Chub purchased shortly before their wedding, a sign of the times. There they raised three children, grew into the neighborhood, and lived until they passed on. Patti's most enduring hobbies were sewing, knitting, quilting and taking long walks.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Chub in 2004 and by their only son Michael Walter in 1976 and infant daughter, Jennifer Rose in 1964. She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Lee Loveland and her husband, Richard Loveland, Jr of Littleton and their two daughters, Sarah Loveland and Hannah Loveland and great-grand-son, Theodore Loveland-Webb; Stephanie Blandin Fraser and her husband, Kent Fraser and their daughter, Abby Rose Fraser of Hinesburg, VT.

SERVICES -- There is no funeral service arranged, per Patti's request. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Donations may be made in Patti's memory, to the Bethlehem Public Library, 2245 Main St, Bethlehem, NH 03574.
