Patricia J. (Karoscik) Chizmazia, 67, of Manchester, died on Monday, February 26, 2018 at her home in Manchester.
She was born on August 10, 1950, in New Britain, CT, the daughter of the late John and Erina Karoscik.
Patt was an amazing woman. She was intelligent, creative, and kind. Patt excelled at just about everything she did.
She worked at Modutec Meters in Connecticut and New Hampshire as an electronics technician and programmer. She took her programming skills to Brookstone in Nashua as a consultant. Patt also worked on the Eagle Tribune programming staff.
Throughout her life Patt always enjoyed crafts and jewelry making. She loved to learn new techniques and experiment with colors and textures in her creations.
In 2008, she opened a bead shop in Manchester with her husband. She taught classes, made jewelry, and enjoyed having the store inventory at her disposal to create whatever came to mind. In addition, she did all the bookkeeping and accounting for the store. The front windows of the store are lined with plants. Patt grew most of them from seedlings. She loved plants and gardening. She had a green thumb.
During the last twelve years of her life Patt battled cancer on three separate occasions. Each time her toughness and resilience pulled her through.
Patt loved cats of all shapes, sizes and colors. She had numerous cats throughout her life. Her kitties miss her now and so do we.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Avenue, in Manchester.
