Patricia L. Counter

Patricia Lynn Counter, 78, of Manchester, NH, passed away on April 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Morris, MN on August 5, 1944, she was one of ten children to the late Joseph and Joan (Clothier) Sullivan. She shared 40 years of marriage with her late husband, Roland Counter.

Patricia was raised in Minnesota and California and found her way to New Hampshire after marrying Roland in 1965. Together they raised three children, Tammy, Rhonda and Randy. She worked for Radisson Hotel in downtown Manchester as a housekeeping supervisor and for many years worked as a cook at Page’s Country Store and Deli. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. Above all else, she was the loving matriarch of her family who cherished time spent with her loved ones.

Patricia is survived by her children, Tamara (Counter) Maltone  of Manchester and her husband Jeff of Washington, Rhonda Counter of Manchester, and Randy Counter of Manchester; her brothers, Scott Sullivan of South Carolina, Douglas Sullivan and William Sullivan of California; her sisters, Catherine Thorpe of Colorado and Joanne Gearheart of California; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Maltone, Kianna Gonzales, Corey Maltone, Samantha Beebe, Daython Maltone and Elijah Morris; her great-grandchildren, Brayden Farrell, Karson Maltone and Parker Maltone; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was predeceased by her siblings, James, Michael and Terrance Sullivan and Sharyl Solis; as well as her grandson, Kameron Counter.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Saturday, May 13^th from 4:30PM – 5:30PM with a Memorial Service at 5:30PM.
