Patricia A. Fisher., 90, of Deerfield, NH died peacefully surrounded by three generations of her family and close friends on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her residence in Deerfield, NH.

Mrs. Fisher was born on September 23, 1935, in Mt. Kisco, NY, the daughter of the late Merton and Blanche (Vermette) Eastman. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory School of Nursing at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY in 1956. Mrs. Fisher was employed as a Registered Nurse and worked at Mt. Kisco Hospital. She was married to Donald Fisher on October 14th, 1956 in Chappaqua, NY. They quickly moved to California where Donald was stationed at Fort Ord. In March of 1957, Patricia flew to Germany to join her husband who was serving in the US Army as a radio operator. Their first home was in Erlangen, Germany. In November of that year, they were transferred to Wurzburg where their firstborn decided to begin his journey into the world that very night! In April of 1958, they returned to the States and they lived in her childhood home in Armonk, NY where she worked as a registered nurse at Westchester Hospital. They moved to New Hampshire with five children in 1973 where they added two more girls to their family of eight children.

She was an active member of the Women’s club at St Joseph’s Church in Northwood, NH for many years. Patricia also enjoyed making Christmas ornaments to give as gifts. She loved fresh produce from the large family gardens and was an expert at making various dishes from its bounty. Patricia made the best cheesecake and Scottish shortbread ever and passed down many recipes to her daughters and daughters-in-law.

Patricia had a deep love for her family and family traditions. Her children could always count on her for support and a listening ear. They remember her always embracing their friends and welcoming people into their home. Holidays were loud and joyful.

Members of her family include; her sons, Kevin Fisher and his wife Barbara, of Deerfield, NH; Scott Fisher of Deerfield, NH; Leanne Fisher (daughter-in-law) of Omaha, NE; Jonathan Fisher and his wife Renee, of Northfield, NH; Kimberly Rideout of Frostburg, MD; Donna Helseth and her husband, David, of Milan, IN; Stephanie Daniels and her husband Shannon, of Silverdale, WA; and Adrienne Burt of Hinsdale, NH.
