Patricia Forte

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, Patricia Forte, known to loved ones simply as Patty; wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 80 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Patty was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 27, 1941, to the late Frank and Marie (Grato) Wargo. She attended Laurelton Hall in Milford, CT and Wakefield High School in MA. She also was a resident of the Rocky Mountain and Sunshine state, until settling home in New Hampshire surrounded by her family.

On any given day, Patty would be found sitting at the kitchen table with an issue of the People Magazine, dressed in a blue and white sailor striped shirt, with a cup of tea in hand and a cigarette between her fingers. Patty was a voracious reader, and a lover of soap operas and crossword puzzles. Though a homebody, Patty always welcomed and enjoyed conversation with anyone fortunate enough to enter the room. Her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she was truly elated to watch her great grandchildren grow.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and beloved brother Francis, who was closest to her in life.
Patty is survived by her caring husband Vincent, with whom she celebrated and shared 62 years of marriage, her children; John Forte and his wife Debbie of Milford, NH, Deborah O’Byrne of Boynton Beach, FL, and Suzanne Forte of Milford, NH, seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Although Patty has touched countless lives, due to the ongoing global pandemic and consideration for the health of her loved ones, Services and Interment will be held privately at the discretion of her family. A celebration of Patricia Forte’s life and memory will be held at a later date, when friends and acquaintances can be welcomed safely.

In lieu of flowers, Patty’s family encourage donations be made in her memory to The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
