Patricia Ruth (Connors) Moran-Brooks, 86 died peacefully with family by her side at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. Born in Lawn, Newfoundland, Canada to the late Ernest and Loretta (Tarrant) Connors, as a child her family relocated to Dorchester, MA where she was raised and established many lifelong friendships.
After a successful career at United Airlines in Boston she embarked on a new adventure and relocated for a job with the Boeing Corporation in Seattle. It was a career that allowed her to travel and explore often, something she loved - Hawaii being her favorite. Upon retirement, Ruth decided to move back East to be closer to family and friends.
Ruth enjoyed many interests in addition to travel - shopping, classic movies, music, reading mysteries and time spent by the ocean. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and dear friends who were lucky to be surrounded by her kind, caring and generous nature. She always sent beautifully handwritten cards and never forgot a birthday. Ruth had a heart of gold, a warm smile and big laugh to match it.
Affectionately known as Aunt Ruth, she was loved and will be deeply missed by many. Family includes Richard Kirby, William Kirby and Colleen Muller and their families. Ruth also leaves countless cousins and dear friends behind. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Woody Brooks, first husband Jack Moran, her brother Gerald Connors and her best friend her cousin Hannah Drohan.
Per her wishes a mass will be held at St. Pius X Church, 575 Candia Road, Manchester, NH on Thursday, February 15th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
