Patricia A. “Patty” Mulkhey, 84, of Loudon, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on September 5, 2025, surrounded by the love and laughter of her family.
Born on January 26, 1941, in Wolfeboro, NH, Patty was the daughter of Clarence and Corrine (Gay) Page. She was raised in Pittsfield and educated locally. Patty was married to the love of her life, Philip J. Mulkhey, for 67 years until his passing on March 31, 2024. Together, they built a life centered on family and community.
Throughout her working years, Patty held positions as a data processor for the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission and as a bookkeeper for X-Ray Professionals. She also provided in-home childcare, and co-owned and operated the Yankee Country Store in Loudon with her husband.
Patty truly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, crafting beautiful special occasion cakes, and sharing time with those she loved.
She is survived by her beloved children: son Shawn Mulkhey and his wife Michelle; daughters Melissa Abbott and her husband Michael, and Michelle Parker; her cherished grandchildren: Jason Landry, Talia Madensky and her husband Daniel, Nathan Munson and his wife Christine, Joseph Mulkhey and his wife Destini, Jeremy Mulkhey and his partner John, and Harleigh Parker and her husband Jared. Patty was blessed with many great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her infant son, Peter.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 12th at 11:00am at the Loudon Congregational Church, 7018 Church Street, Loudon, NH, followed by burial at Mount Hope Cemetery in Loudon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patty’s memory to Granite VNA at https://www.granitevna.org/, whose compassionate care was deeply appreciated by the family.
