Patricia D. Surette, born on June 6, 1941, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, at the Inn at Deerfield Nursing Home.
Known for her resilience and selflessness, Patricia was always ready to help anyone in need. She was kind and caring, a true giver who put others before herself. Patricia proudly served as a registered nurse for 42 years. She spent 32 of those years serving the Department of Veterans Affairs, loving her role as an RN. Her career was a source of great fulfillment, as she helped and healed many people along the way. She found deep satisfaction in her work and made countless friends throughout her nursing journey.
A lifelong devout Catholic, Patricia faithfully attended St. Catherine of Siena Church, holding her faith close throughout her life.
Outside of her career and faith, Patricia loved to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. She had a season pass to Vail and enjoyed skiing whenever she could. Cooking was another passion, especially preparing meals for those she loved and baking cookies with her grand children. Many fond memories were made around her Christmas dinner table, times marked by good food and joyful company. Traveling with her husband George was a favorite activity, and together they explored many places around the world with their family, creating countless memories.
Patricia cherished her family above all. She is survived by her loving husband, George Surette; her son, Gregory Surette and his wife, Saylee; and her daughter, Anna Alexandre and her husband, Derick. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to five granddaughters: Alice, Evelyn, Isabelle, Remy, and Rose. She is also survived by her brothers Gerald Dezura and Joseph Dezura, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her deeply. Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers Francis Dezura and Richard Dezura, and her sister Veronica Soles.
Calling Hours for Patricia will be held on Tuesday, March 31 from 10 to 11 AM, with a funeral Mass from 11 AM to 12 PM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Manchester, NH. Patricia will be laid to rest afterwards at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 1 PM.
