Paul Jean Beaudette, 75, of Manchester died September 26, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack with his family by his side.
He was born on December 8, 1937 in Manchester, NH the son of the late George and Hedwidge (Bedard) Beaudette.
Mr. Beaudette served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.
He worked with the Manchester Highway Department for over 30 years before retiring in the mid 1990's. Paul belonged to the city union while with the highway department.
Paul enjoyed family gatherings and dining out. In his younger years he liked to go fishing. He was a very social guy and a great story teller.
Family members include his wife of 52 years, Pauline (Asselin) Beaudette of Manchester, 3 children, Madeleine Turner and her partner Al Webster of Manchester, Jean Paul "JP" Beaudette and his girlfriend Rhonda Richard of Manchester and Robert Beaudette and his wife Karyn of Manchester; 3 grandchildren, Laban Turner, Cole Beaudette and Brady Beaudette; 2 brothers, Bert Beaudette of Manchester and George Beaudette of North Hampton; 4 sisters, Lucille Normand of Manchester, Florence Cimon of Bedford, Rita Pariseau of North Hampton and Alice Rattigan of Manchester and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Lou "Chief" Beaudette, Terry St. John and Simonne Racicot.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Complimentary valet parking will be provided during the evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, S. Main St, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.
