Paul Francis Beaver, 83, passed away surrounded by his loving family on December 9, 2018 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, FL. Born on December 22, 1934, he was son of the late John and Mary (Fleming) Beaver. He enjoyed 62 years of marriage with his wife, Mary Jane (Dolan) Beaver.
Paul was a 1952 graduate of the Wakefield, MA High School. He went on to proudly serve in the United States Navy for three years. Paul was an employee of the United States Postal Service for over 30 years.
Paul and his wife, Jane, enjoyed 23 years of being a seasonal resident of Tropical Palms in Punta Gorda, FL, and 20 years of being a resident of Rose Hill in Bedford, NH, making many wonderful friendships in both places over the years. Paul loved sports, and he served as a High School and Collegiate level baseball umpire, basketball official and soccer official for many years. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed the sport anywhere with anyone. Throughout the years, he and Jane enjoyed numerous cruise ship vacations.
Paul leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Beaver; his children, David Beaver and wife Lynn; John Beaver and wife Helen Roberts Beaver; Paula Greer and husband Ted; and Ann Driscoll; grandchildren Timothy Beaver and wife Jaqueline Chura Beaver; Stefanie Beaver; Jamie Beaver; Caroline Greer; Patrick Greer; Carol Ann Banks and husband Terrance; Megan Driscoll and Kellie Driscoll; great-grandchildren Kyndal, Kameron and Kennedy Banks; his sister in law, Emily Beaver; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brothers, John and Richard Beaver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 4-7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 21st , 10am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH. He will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
